Internationalization technologies

"Internationalization" (I18N) refers to a software generalization process that provides software that is not itself dependent on a specific region or language and therefore has the ability to cope with the different cultures, languages and customs of multiple countries and regions. With the emergence of global markets as Internet use grows, consigned development together with offshore and other forms of distributed development that span national boundaries are becoming the norm rather than the exception, and the importance of software internationalization is also growing as a result. We are now at the point where software internationalization offers a range of advantages from both the business and the technological perspectives. In order for software developed overseas to be usable in your country, and conversely for your software to be usable globally, it is now clear that corporate globalization must be accompanied by internationalization in the development of the software used in corporate information systems.
